Education, Health and Social Services

Admirals Cove Foundation’s 2024 grant process is CLOSED. 

The 2025 application will open for online grant submissions on July 1, 2024.

Grant funding is focused on programs impacting the Education, Health and Social Service needs of individuals and families in the northern Palm Beach County area. The geographical focus area is North Palm Beach (Northlake Blvd.) north  to Tequesta (County Line Rd). Special consideration is given to nonprofit organizations with  programs impacting Jupiter residents.

 

Education

We support nonprofit organizations, public and charter school programs and initiatives that promote and improve access to education for people of all ages.

Health

We support projects and programs of nonprofit organizations committed to improving the physical or mental wellness of children and adults.

Social Service

We support nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of families, children and individuals including veterans, who are in need of food, shelter, and assistance.

Admirals Cove Foundation does not fund
  • Agencies outside Palm Beach County
  • Individuals
  • National organizations that are not a local chapter with demonstrable direct benefit to residents of northern Palm Beach County
  • Sectarian or religious purposes
  • General animal and environmental programs, except for educational outreach programs
  • Grants to lobby legislation or influence public elections
  • Grant commitments for more than one year

All applicants must be in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service

Important Dates

2024 Grant Process Closed August 1, 2023

January 6, 2024 – Applicants Notified of Grant Funding Status

January 2024 – February 2024 – In-person Site Visits with 25 Nonprofit Grant Semi-Finalists

April 2024 – Nonprofit Grant Semi-Finalists Notified of Grant Funding Approval

July 1, 2024 – 2025 Online Grant Application Opens

August 1, 2024 – 2025 Online Grant Application Closes

The Process

  • Online Grant Application opens annually on July 1st. Grant application closes on August 1st.
  • Foundation office reviews grant applications to ensure supporting documents are received.
  • Allocation Committee reviews grant applications and recommends 25 Nonprofit Grant Semi-Finalists.
  • After recommendation is approved, Grant status emails are sent to all organizations that submitted a Grant application.
  • Site visits conducted by the ACF Allocation Committee are scheduled with 25 Nonprofit Grant Semi-Finalists.
  • Allocation Committee recommends grant funding totals, based on individual nonprofit programming need & fiscal year ACF fundraising totals.
  • Grant recipient recommendations are presented to the ACF Board of Directors for approval.
  • Nonprofits receiving an ACF grant are required to sign the ACF Grant Agreement Contract.
  • Grant recipients must submit a 6-month status report by October 1st of the award year.
