Admirals Cove Foundation Supports Local Law Enforcement

At The Badge Golf Tourney

On November 3rd, The Admirals Cove Foundation held its second The Badge Golf Tournament at The Club at Admirals Cove. Proceeds from the event, held every two years, support the training, safety, and emotional well-being of the brave men and women from the Jupiter Police Department and the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, who protect residents of Palm Beach County.

Highlights of the day included: foursomes being paired with local law enforcement officers, silent auction, cocktail mixer and awards ceremony, and riveting demonstrations by the K-9 Unit, Bomb Squad, Mounted Unit, Motor Unit, new Therapy Dog graduates, and a special appearance by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office Eagle Helicopter.

The Admirals Cove Foundation provided initial funding for the PBSO COMET – Community Outreach and Mentoring Education Trailer.  This truly unique trailer is outfitted with laptops, school supplies, fresh food and snacks, and trained deputies who mentor and educate youth and middle-school students. The COMET serves as a mobile schoolroom and outreach ambassador that improves access to learning experiences in underserved communities.

ACF was recently named the Outstanding Foundation for 2024 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Palm Beach County Chapter during national Philanthropy Day. Since 2016, the Admirals Cove Foundation has distributed more than $17.5 million to local nonprofits.
